I've just about finished! Okay! Okay! Okay! I can hear you saying loud and clear "you never finish." What I actually mean is, that the initial ground work has been completed. I am really ecstatic with my new website. This is the kind of website I had envisioned many moons ago.
What stopped me from moving forward, many moons ago and parting company with my web designer was FEAR. Pure cold unadulterated FEAR! It was a case of better the imp you know than the demon you don?t. what presented its self as a huge stumbling block for me, was the fact that I was afraid that I?d somehow be unable to receive emails on my domain name! aromaprofiles.com "What was I thinking?"
There was a universal plan and it had been set in motion and it when a little something like this.
If I changed web designers or even designed my own website, I was afraid that I wouldn't be able to use my email aromaprofiles.com. This was and is my business emailing address. But I kept tell the Universe asking God for just that. A new website with all the things that I want.
About eighteen months ago I began being deluged with SPAM. The situation had gotten out of control. I was receiving 1500 to 1700 emails a day with only 20 to 30 of those being legitimate. Daily I had to wade through all this. I went away for six days and faced an email nightmare upon my return. It was then that I was shown that I was already functioning with a compromised emailing address that wasn't working for me. I called my web master regarding this problem and he suggested that I filter my mail through Google. He set it up and it worked like a charm. No more SPAM.
I don't know what went click inside my head, something about that situation that I had endured for eighteen months made me stronger...I do know that I wasn't afraid to choose change anymore. In January of 2009 I found webs.com and as the saying goes, "the rest is history."
Namaste
