You know when you are going along on the right pathway, because everything…even the bumps and hurdle…allow you to move in a smooth and continuous motion. There is also a sense or feeling of rightness.

In building this website, my only concern was transferring my email addresses. I have yet to point the servers to my domain name(s)! And if you are thinking …why is she waiting? There is method to my madness. I want to have my website complete so that when I point the servers I’m ready to go. That was not my last experience, my website wasn’t ready and being a virtual store at that time it impacted my business and my company’s reputation.

So after 9 years it’s time to move on from my old web designer, host and in many respects, internet teacher. I have learnt a lot from my experience…including, web graphics, writing my own html, creating boxes, dropdown boxes, forms you name it I HAD to learn how to do it.

I started out with webs.com just to see if they could put their money where their mouth is! My husband has a saying that says, “many people write checks that their butts can’t cash!” I wanted to see if webs.com would bounce their proverbial checks.

So bearing that in mind, for the last year or so I’ve been playing around…even submitted a ticket or two, with a bonafide questions, to gauge the kind of response that I received back. “They have money in the bank…so to speak, they appear to be writing checks that their butts are able to cash…and so I’m sold.

Being a control freak…yes I admit it!  Feely and proudly…webs.com has allowed me autonomy over what I want my website to look like. I can even, as a premium member, custom build my own site.  How sweet is that!!!!  Webs.com has supplied all that I need, at this moment in time…my only worry is my emails…they are the life line of my business. But in the next few days I will be biting the bullet! Wish me luck and I’ll keep you posted...I might need a dentist!
